Off Track Thoroughbred Award for Dressage

Pike Road Pillow Company will offer a dressage award for 2009. Dressage is a sport that is good for all horses. Off track Thoroughbreds make great dressage partners in their second career. To promote training OTTBs for dressage, Pike Road Pillow Company offers this award for the 2009 show season.

Complete details are available upon request. The horse and rider combination must be members of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) GMO of the Montgomery Area Dressage and Combined Training Association (MADCTA) at the time scores are earned. A minimum of three scores from three different judges is required. Scores may be earned at schooling or recognized shows in 2009.

Proof of Jockey Club registry and the horse's race record is required. Horses that race trained are also eligible, but a photo of their lip tattoo is necessary for proof.

The award will be presented at the 2009 MADCTA Awards Banquet in December, 2009.
